Words cannot express our gratitude to you... He is happy at school, loves riding the bus, reports to his mother that he is having "the best day ever" at school.

On
behalf of our family, we want to thank you for your diligence and efforts
to help us sort out our options during this most difficult time.

Thank
you so much for everything. We always enjoyed watching you work and how
you were always on top of things, but we also enjoyed getting to know
you as a person. It's a great thing you do for families you represent.
We were truly fortunate to have you as our attorney.

Thank
you for everything you have done for us this past year. It has been a
great school year for my son and it has been really terrific to see the
progress he has made academically and socially. I know he would not be
where he is if we had not had you to guide us and oversee what the teacher/district
are doing.

Thank
you so very much for all that you have done. Without your help, [my son]
wouldn't be where he is today.

She
is doing great! Because of all your help, she is in a regular ed class
with pull-outs for reading and a tiny bit of socialization. Turth be told,
she wouldn't have receive all that she has and wouldn't have progressed
so far without you.

I
had a GREAT attorney with a wonderful sense of humor. Thank you again.
You have been such a support. I could not have done this without you!

I
would like to tell you and Lana how much we appreciated the help in getting
things right with the school. Our son is close to graduation this year
and he is doing much better.

Thank
you so much for everything that you have done for us. You have no idea
how wonderful it was to get [my son] up for school today. He was literally
glowing when he walked into school. It was like a rock star had arrived
with all of his friends gathering around him. This has been the greatest
day of my life (besides the day that my children were born) and I owe
it all to you and Lana.

I
appreciate all that you've done for us. I'm sure that you hear this a
lot, but I'll say it anyway. You covered me when I was so freaked out
that I could not carry a thought. You treated me with great respect when
I felt like all of the school district thought I was stupid.

Thanks
for all your support. Believe me, we couldn't have made it this far without
you!

Thank
you for caring about kids. Because of you, my daughter has everything
in place to help her be a successful adult. You played a significant role
in providing her the educational opportunities she desires. She now has
a chance to blossom into that bright loving woman who will influence many
for good. I am so thankful that you were willing to help her.

Thank
you for your help in gaining clarity with the school and working to improve
my daughter's IEP. You are straight forward with you approach and strategies
to work with the school district. Your professionalism shines. I appreciate
how you provided information and coached me to speak in a direct way that
the school district could hear. My daughter will start middle school with
the best IEP to day after working with you. I trust that the frustration
level will be lowered, which itself is a gift. Thanks again!

I
want you to know that I really enjoyed working with you and wanted to
thank you for everything. I felt like was running into walls everywhere
I turned. I know that my daughter will soar to new heights. She is a lovely
girl, and she is smart. She just needs some maturity behind her and growth
and she will make it! Thanks again!

Wow, what a
journey! The tenacity, knowledge and professionalism that Diane and Lana
have when working on finding solutions for students is amazing. My daughter
and I wouldn't have made it through the maze of procedures, the law, schedules
and trying to find a way to work with our local school district, without
their help.
Important educational
issues that our family had been dealing with were being avoided by the
school district. Once Diane made her first contacts, things started moving.
While it ended up being a very long journey, we were kept informed about
what was happening, what might happen next, and the options that were
available to us.
These two ladies
deserve an award for making the decision to specialize in this particular
type of law. I cannot thank them enough for all that has been accomplished
for my daughter. I know that others will also benefit from their hard
work and dedication.

I wanted to
take a moment and write you to your know how wonderful you are. My son
has been doing so much better. He still has his bad days, but is in control
of himself and happier. he went through a lot before you were called in.
From constant neglect from his teachers, he was not learning and hated
school. He was put on meds at the first part of the year and was off of
them by the second month of school. He has built such a bond with the
principal of his school and his teacher, and he even has some friends.
You are a powerful woman and that's something that I admire, and I'm thankful
that we found you in time.

While I know
the battle might not be completely over with the school district, I feel
as though we climbed a mountain today. I honestly believe that we couldn't
have done this and gone so far without your help. You truly are a gift!
Thank you so much for all the great work you have done, not just for us,
but my son as well. He is getting what he needs because of you. When I
told him tonight that, come Monday, he would be getting more time in school
and more classes, I just wish you could have seen the look on his face.
He was glowing! I'm so thankful that we took the advice of a friend and
came to you for help. I look forward to having your continued advice and
will gladly refer anyone who needs help to you.

I would like
to take the time to thank you for everything you both have done for my
children. Without professional people like you, our children would have
been swept between the cracks of our school system. I can't thank you
enough for their progress.

Thank you so
much for your hard work and support for us during this last year!

I wanted to
take a moment and tell you how much you have helped my son in this matter.
You did your job well and it impressed me. I just wanted you to know that
he has been making nothing but progress so far this year. He has had a
few episodes, but has been making correct choices in his social environment,
and from what I hear, making a lot of friends. We can't thank you enough
for all you have done.

I truly can't
thank you enough for putting up with me and getting me through this on
a positive note. I truly appreciate all your hard work and candor. Thank
you.

Diane and Lana
are true advocates for disabled students. They are knowledgeable, realistic,
and fair. They place our children's educational needs first and assist
us in determining the best course of action to help ensure those educational
needs are met. Words cannot express the gratitude we have in our hearts.
Thank you.

You are both good
and kind women. What you do is a testimony of your goodness. Who fights for
these children? You do. The world needs you both. You have enriched my life...
Thank you for the personal conviction you showed for [my son]. Thank you for
the words of kindness. Thank you for doing what you do.

I can't begin to
tell you what you have meant in ...our lives. The fact you were willing to
make yourself uncomfortable and point out we were making a mistake if we didn't
pursue mediation will never be forgotten! You represented [our son] as if
he were your own, with the same passion we feel for him as well as having
a stake in his future success in life. This is so very special and I would
have to also say quite rare. When we thought we had forgotten certain facts
and were losing the mediation, you were already on the page to support our
telling. We were very impressed with the dedication and tenacity you showed.
What can we say, "We were blessed the day you came into our son's ...
and [our] life." Saying thank you doesn't really do you justice, you
are awesome! The world is a better place because of people like you!
The best to
you always

Thank you for
your help with IEP this year -- we're grateful! Things are great!
  I want to thank
you for your advice. When [our son] was 3, and in his 1st year of ESD,
going into his second year -- just your advice on demanding more time
for [him] and the fact that he deserved and could get more therapy, helped
so much. Thank you!
  ...thank you!
What peace of mind to have the school district comply to meeting [our
son's] needs. I believe this was accomplished by having your voice and
support. [He] now has 1:1 assistance (in the IEP). His day is much safer
and positive.
We appreciate your
considerate letter regarding your specialization in your practice. We
were fortunate to know you and have the benefit of your experience in
our situation. You will be a tremendous advocate and legal assistance
to clients in the area of special education law.
We wish
you a great future.

We all thank
you very much! [He] has charmed everyone so far--I can't wait to see how
he wraps everyone around his finger come September! We are so excited!

Thanks again
on all your help in getting [him] back on track. Looking forward to a
successful school year. He is at camp this week and doing great!

You are awesome
- you have been absolutely fantastic both [of us] are EVER GRATEFUL! I
admire what you do and how you do it and I thank you for caring so much
for my little darling!

I
wanted to express my sincere gratitude for such a rare and wonderful person.
You always say, "It's my job." But to choose a job like this
is nothing but love.

Thank you for
all you did for [us]. [She] graduated from 8th grade with a 4.0 and received
the Presidential Award For Excellence signed by George Bush. She was very
happy and excited. [She] is beautiful inside and out. Someday she will
contribute a great deal to society. You are a big part of her success!
There are so many kids and parents out there who will need you in the
future. I know you will continue to help.
Thanks for everything!
God bless you always!

Diane Wiscarson
helped us to find resolution to problems with our local school district
that we had dealt with over a long period of time. At all times she centered
the process towards meeting the needs of our daughter. She was wonderful
to work with, straightforward and honest in what she could and could not
do and yet it was evident that she cared about our daughter. Diane understands
IDEA and uses it to ensure that students receive the services that they
should. Personally, working with Diane restored our faith that IDEA can
and does work for the benefit of students with disabilities.

Thank you for your
kindness and help this year. I appreciate our knowledge and your willingness
to share it. Have a wonderful new year. |
