Diane graduated from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in 1996. She is licensed in both Oregon and Washington, and actively represents clients throughout both states. Diane is also admitted and qualified to practice law in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States District Court, Western District of Washington, and the United States District Court for the District of Oregon.
As a special education lawyer, Diane has had the most fortunate opportunity to serve on numerous boards and committees. She currently serves on the Oregon Parent Training and Information Center (OrPTI) Board of Directors and the Dispute Resolution Committee, a sub-committee of the State Advisory Council for Special Education. Diane also serves on the Program Planning Committee for the Pacific Northwest Institute on Special Education and the Law, through the University of Washington, School Law Division.
Diane is a frequent lecturer at various local, state, regional and national meetings and conferences.
