Diane and Lana both have children with special needs. They understand the impact that a special needs child can have on an entire family - including the crushing financial effect. When fashioning their law practices, Diane and Lana try to be sensitive to this issue and plan for a law practice that is serviceable for their clients.
Parents are never charged for their initial consultation with Diane and Lana. The first consultation can be done over the telephone or in-person, whichever you prefer. This allows the attorneys the opportunity to assess your child's unique educational issues. The free consultation also allows you to decide whether you need to pursue legal representation for your child.
Diane and Lana review each student's educational situation on a case-by-case basis. This allows them to take a close look at the unique facts of the current educational issues. Then, Diane and Lana can help you decide whether your child needs legal representation and how they can best help your child.
If your child needs legal representation, Diane and Lana offer a unique financial arrangement. All of their education cases are handled jointly - that is, both attorneys represent each child. Even though all education cases are handled together by the two attorneys, you are only charged for the services of one attorney. The same hourly rate applies whether one or both of the attorneys provide legal service for a particular issue or student. This arrangement allows Diane and Lana to better serve your child because both attorneys are well-versed on your child's current issues.
You only gain by consulting with Diane and Lana. They will assess your child's situation to determine if your child needs legal representation. If you do not need an attorney, they will tell you so! If your child needs the services of an attorney, Diane and Lana offer four different services models to help your child.
